  Probably one of the "purest" beer-drinking experiences I've ever had. The cellar claimed 2000-ish beers in stock, and had great snacks and food too. Worth a look.

  Hier is heel heel veel werk aan de winkel. Doet me denken aan het Romeinse Rijk in vrije val. Verwacht niet dat er om 19h service is. Het is help yourself. Leeg café. Geen bediening, ttz achter toog niemand. Bediening zit doodleuk te nietsen op het terras. Klanten zijn compleet bijzaak. Het exkuus zijn blijkbaar zgn renovatiewerken. Such a bad expierience never again.

  Okay, they have a lot of beers. No pub in the world has more than they do, so they claim. That might be true, so it is too bad that out of the four beers we ordered, there was one that wasn't in stock. Anyway, a nice cold beer sure gives you an appetite. Time for a little snack maybe? Don't think so. They had no snacks, not even potato chips! Never happened to me before in a Belgian cafe (and I'm Belgian). And then the biggest problem. It was freezing cold, around zero degrees Celsius, but the heating didn't work! Bu the way: the interior is fake: fake fireplace (a television), fake ceiling and fake walls, the latter in some kind of plastic cover with bricks painted on. A total let down, this place.

  If you are looking for an authentic cafe, this place is not for you. The fake brick wall decoration might detract you from what this place is about. It is simply the best choice in town for true beer lovers. There is a large selection on tap, and literally hundreds of bottles to choose from. Stock levels vary, and be prepared to select an alternative from the booklet. They also carry a selection of larger bottles (75cl). The snacks they offer are of high quality. The service can be slow at the busiest times.
