  Very nice park for wildlife, particularly birdlife, functioning as a last resort for these water birds .. and for Flanders it's actually really exceptional to have a park like this, with such a natural value, "inside the city".. However, it's really a bit too busy with people

  A great place for walking and it also has biking areas. Tons of wildlife and nice scenic views.

  Stunningly beautiful park so close to Ghent centre. Loads of waterbirds and striking sights. Make sure to bring your binoculars and boots (in wintertime). The big walk is definitely worth your time. And you can finish with a coffee in de Natuurpunt bar.

  Beautiful green open space despite being so close to the city. Very well maintained on as well as off the tracks. Perfect for lovely walks and scenic runs.

  Wonderful wetland. You can jog or walk with your pets or family, different tracks depends on your need for options. There are many creatures such as birds and foxes. There are also a cafe and information desk with kind staff.
