::I liked the bed, the floor heating especially in the bathroom. The window that can be opened. The tea selection for breakfast. The quiet room. I disliked the elevator that is so small box and very slow.

::The lobby was a bit old-fashioned, but the room was quiet, clean with everything you need for a nice stay in Mechelen.

::Used to be one of the better hotels in mechelen. Still has a decent breakfast, and is close to city center. You can't dine in the hotel itself but there is indoor access to a neighboring restaurant and there are plenty of options nearby. The staff is very friendly and the bar stocks a nice selection of beers. The rooms on the fourth floor are spacious by european standards but the free wifi performance is very poor (there is a paid premium plan but what hotel even dares to charge for decent wifi nowadays? ) elevator is cramped and very, very slow and the bathroom maintenance looks poor with some cracked tiles and several old drill holes. Retiling it would make quite a difference.

::Ok. Some od rooms should be refreshed. Generally ok

::Nice hotel with private underground parking (not free). In the old centre of Mechelen. Rooms are fine, spatious, but may need some updating. Some (all?) rooms have a bathtub. Rooms are quite hot as is the rest of the hotel. Windows can open, but there is streetnoise. It's not busy, but the sound echos in the narrow street. Breakfast is average, but there are plenty of coffee shops nearby which serve a nice breakfast
