::Leuke bungalows.

::Edit: a few days after this review, I received roughly €20 back from the €150 guarantee. Still waiting for the details that justify holding back €130... Original post: We stayed for the weekend. The electricity consumption is through the roof! All heating is electric, and the insulation is mediocre. We went through 3 bags of (probably fast burning pine)wood in 48 hours (at extra cost of course) and still consumed the same amount of electricity we normally use at home in about a month, just to get the place warm. If you're lucky with the weather you'll spend time outside and then this should be less of an issue. The door to the terrace needs to be replaced as it is very difficult to close. They charge €70 for cleaning, but I found cobwebs in the chandelier when we arrived. For that price you also still need to take out your own garbage by the way. I don't mind paying for cleaning, but if the price is high, then so should the quality. One month after our stay I am still waiting to see my deposit refunded (what is left of it, since the energy bill gets deducted), or to at least get a message informing me there is nothing to be paid back. That means that at this point in time I have paid double the actual renting price. If I had known this in advance I would not have booked this place. It is nice, but either the price needs to go down, or the quality needs to go up considerably. It is not worth €300 for 2 nights. On the plus side, both owner and groundskeeper are very friendly. Not sure how that makes up for the other things, but it's worth mentioning. Hoping this, combined with my emails to the owner, triggers an improvement.
