  Je vous déconseille ce bar. 40 min d’attente, nous avons demandé 2 fois au serveur pour être servit. Nous n’avons jamais été servit car nous sommes partis au bout de 40 min. Bien évidemment aucune excuse de la part des serveurs mal aimable. Fuyez ce bar!

  Un excellent point de chute, avec des serveurs sympathiques. Un bon choix de bières à des prix corrects. Sur la place, proche du piétonnier, c'est l'endroit parfait pour venir s'installer en terrasse pour récupérer d'une promenade dans les petites rues adjacentes. Paiement cash seulement. Pas de carte. Toilettes relativement accessibles à tous et propres.

  Watch your wallet. Husband and I recently moved to Mons. Have been checking out the local venues. This is the only one so far that has tried to rip us off. Ordered two beers, an omelette and a sandwich. (Stale bread? With a boulangerie on every street? Really? But whatever.) When we asked the waiter for the check, he made a big show of adding it up in his head and then wrote 29 euro on a piece of paper. I guess because our French skills are so poor, he thought our math skills were as well. He tried to convince us that it was the correct amount until we insisted on seeing the menu. It should have been 19 euro. Busted. He just shrugged and gave us our change. No apologies. Not embarrassed or contrite at all. As we were leaving, I asked to speak to the owner. He said he didn't speak English, so I explained what happened in my crappy French. He understood. He stopped the waiter as he walked by and said something to him and then told us he was sorry. He wasn't really. Obviously not the first time they've pulled this scam. Avoid the place. Plenty of other restaurants in the area. Who needs that?
