  What a hassle to get on the train. And how disappointing that oftentimes the Internet doesn't work.

  Had to enter In Rotterdam - Brussels Train last minute because of delay in connecting train. 1 minute before departure, had my e-tickets in hand, but staff refused to let me enter, because the scanning system didn't work. I had to enter or otherwise losing the train to Brussel. In train after showing my tickets to several staff members, I got lectured that I should be 10 minutes in advance at platform (and what if your connection was delayed?), that I can't enter last minute (so, missing your train is better option?). Being treated very rude by Staff, because of their rigid one-way procedural thinking, not client centred at all.

  Not going to travel through here during Easter Holiday again. Unequipped to manage the volume of people going through, we moved like molasses through the station as the queue snaked throughout the station. Props to the staff on hand, they were able to reassure us, but only individually as there was no information over the speakers. Eurostar website not helpful as it updates automatically without acknowledging delays, my train 'left' before I even got on it. Worse were the staff after security, or at least the lack of it. No directions on where to go, it seemed like they'd even turned the lights off, screens had no information as to which track to go to and the sole member of staff who did eventually turn up told us the wrong track number before wandering away.

  Although we've used Eurostar quite a lot in the past, I will in future avoid at all costs. On a recent trip to Brussels our outbound journey was delayed nearly 3 hours because the train broke down, and the inbound delayed more than 2 hours because someone broke through Eurostar's poor excuse for security at Lille. After this they refused point blank to increase their compensation offer from 50% of the ticket price. The excuses given were nothing more than an insult to the intlegence. Eurostar clearly have no interest in keeping customers happy, and should be embarrassed by their customer service.

  Loving the Eurostar nowadays. So much easier than flying for the same price/cheaper. Eurostar for president!
