::it is absolutely an amazing house, the owner had worked on fixing and upgrading the 2 houses, the small one, and the grand one, i am having such a special time renting there, meeting all the very nice other tenants, i am having the feeling of a big family, yet keeping my privacy. for me it is a blessing that i ended up in this house.

::Living at Rue Royale 235, was by far one of the best experiences I have had when living abroad. The house is just beautiful, it is not modern, but that is exactly where its charm lays. It has the spirit of a past time and has a very specific atmosphere, sometimes I felt like living in a museum because Mme Demol has decorated the whole place with suveniers of her many travels. The house also gives the opportunity to become close with the flatmates and I can say that I really made close friendships there. In addition to the two houses there is a garden which is by far the coolest thing in the house as it provides a place where one can relax after a long day. I can not count the BBQs, dinners and parties we had there. If I ever return to Brussels Mme Demol's house is where I would stay. I had plenty of friends come over and not one said something negative about the house, however my friends are not stuck up, pompous pretenders...

::Mme Demol has two houses with no idea how many rooms. f you need a room urgently from "tomorrow on" just give her a call. It's private, so if you absolutely need a contract you should look for another place to stay. The "petite maison" (little house) should be avoided, as it's very old, dirty and absolutely shabby. There was for example no door to the bathroom, which is a bit "scary" if you just move in and don't know the flatmates yet. The "grande maison" (big house) is "okay", not more and not less. Another annoying thing is that internet is working only from time to time and not everywhere in the two houses. And while some of the flatmates have to pay for the internet service, others were never asked to do so. This might have changed since I was living there. Another weird thing are Mme Demol's room prices ranging from 300 to 400 (or even more? anyway, far too much for this corner of the city!), NOT according to the space but exclusively to her mood !!! You might be lucky and get a room which is as big as two other rooms put together and just pay as much as all the others. So, if you are looking for a "last minute" accomodation, Mme Demol's place is okay, but if you intend to stay there for longer, keep looking for something else.
