  I have been backpacking for two years straight, and I've never been to a worse station. This place is absolutely piss-poor. The signage and "info" there is completely useless, possibly the pinnacle of uselessness. I roamed it for over an hour and couldn't figure out how to get to the airport, using the ticket I managed to buy from a machine there. Not a soul could tell me where to go. No attendants. Covered in filth and garbage and piss and homeless immigrants. Had to get a 30 euro taxi instead, after paying for a ticket I couldn't use.

  I really liked the design of this place and I'm not sure why. On my way back from Germany via Belgium, I was here for close to three hours and all I could see in the pitch black darkness was this big, yellowish sort of building. Naturally its been ingrained in my mind, perhaps because I had a craving for cheese, who knows. In any case I got my Mcdonalds in the end but this place, Brussels that is, will always be full to the brim of Belgians. For that reason I deprive it of five stars

  Kein besonders ansprechender Bahnhof. Dennoch Empfehlung hier umzusteigen, wenn ihr das in Brüssel müsst. Viel weniger Gedränge als in Brussel Zuid.

  Grosser Bahnhof der noch nie richtig modernisiert wurde. 1 Tunnel neu 1 alt. Auf den Bahnsteigen alles 50et. Durchgängig dreckig. Unübersichtlich. Kein guter Hinterausgang. Aber auch n vorne zu den Bürotürmen Uringestank.Typisch Brüssel...
