::We visited after seeing prior recommendations from people that have stopped by for a few bottles. They now only do commercial business and turned us away.

::Amazing family run brewery. Happened upon it on a cycle from Brussels to Ghent a few years ago and have been going back to this gem ever since. The farm-come-brewery sits on top of a hill just as you leave the built up Brussels outskirts. They specialise in Lambic beer, with the old school open fermenting process that used to be so common in these parts. Most of the ingredients are grown on the farm, I particularly like the Gueze. Can't recommend enough

::dropped in on Saturday for a look and to grab a few bottles. Fourth generation family farm and lambic brewery with a little shop and a great book to look through the process (that needs to be sold!) Definately stop by on your way past Brussels

::Lengendary family geuze brewery. The founder, and great grandfather of the brewer now, was a bastard son of king leopold I of belgium. If you like geuze, it doesn't get much better than this beer. The shop isn't open that much anymore since one of the brothers sadly past away. Prices are extremely low compared to shop prices.
