  Andre welcomed us on our arrival with drinks and cake. He is a wealth of knowledge and would offer advice on what best to see and do. The B&B was immaculate with parking outside. The breakfasts were very filling and the location was central to everything we wanted to see. Having somewhere nice to stay and return to each evening makes any trip and we had a brilliant 5 days in Zonnebeke. We very much look forward to returning in the near future and will definitely be staying here again, vacancies permitting.

  Situated on Hill 40 in Zonnebeke, Amaryllis is only a short walk to Tyne Cott Cemetery and the Passendale Museum. Ypres is a 5 minute drive. Our host Andre was a wealth of knowledge on the area.

  On October 22nd 2011, I stayed with a friend for one night in this beautiful new B&B. At arrival we got a warm welcome by the owner. He offered us a warm drink but since we wanted to attend the Last Post in Ieper we had to refuse. The rooms as well as the bathroom were spotless. The bed was very comfortable with an excellent mattress. Next morning we were treated on a copious breakfast together with the guests who had stayed in the other room. I can recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to visit Ieper or the surrounding battlefields.
