::Totally inefficient and outdated. Like entering into a time travelling machine and getting stuck in the 60s.
Laurent Demeneix
::Worst administration i have ever encountered.
Vincent Dechamps
::Personnel grossier et incapable de donner des informations simples. Je suis venu pour le renouvellement d'une carte d'identité. Le premier jour un gardien a refusé que je prenne un ticket plus de deux heures avant la fermeture. Le deuxième jour, ils m'ont dit que le système était en panne. N'imaginez pas un mot d'excuse ou une recherche de solutions. À ce jour je dois prévoir une troisième visite.

::A complete nightmare.

::One of the most frustrating experiences with communal/ municipal services I ever had and that's coming from someone who's seen what it's like in Africa, Australia, France and the Netherlands before moving to Belgium. What took me 20 minutes in the Netherlands took 12 hours over 3 days of waiting time alone in Brussels 1000 (later moved to Ixelles 1050 which was slightly better in terms of service and way better in terms of waiting time). Top that up with rude people, conflicting information and an overcrowded waiting room. On my 3rd visit I couldn't believe that the person behind the counter was contradicting her colleague and was basically telling me that she couldn't help. I had to draw the line and after reminding the "security" guy insulting everyone at the entrance that he doesn't own the place and should better learn some manners I insisted on talking to the manager of that particular department and things finally got moving. So fellow expats be warned.
