  I booked before I saw the reviews so was a little bit scared of this hotel. Seriously, it is not as bad as people described it to be. Yes, it is very basic and it has a little smell of smoke but otherwise it is decent. I had single with a bathroom which is what I am after when I travel. It is not the Hilton obviously but if you looking for that, it is across the street from RH with the price that turn your hair grey. The only real complaint I have is the noise, my room was first from the reception and it is REALLY loud during the night. The staff is polite and informative, did not experience any rudeness. Payment was smooth and checkout was quick. I left my luggage with them before and after my stay without any issues. It is solid, close to city centre and have a bathroom in the room if you traveling on budget this hotel is ok.

  BE WARN ! This hotel should be a zero star. The only good thing about it is the location. It is a few minutes walk from the subway system, from the city center, from the hospital etc. If you are in a rush, gamble it but I would suggest taking time to look for other hotels in the same are, there's plenty of them. If you think you are saving money, in the end you are not. Building is old and outdated, there are many stairs and moldy. Anytime you leave the hotel, you have to hand your room key to the staff until you get back. Shady but that's procedure according to them. Worst of all my friend woke up covered in BED BUG BITES. Room 9, was the single bed in the room with a full bed and twin. DO NOT STAY HERE.

  I give this hotel zero stars. The only good thing about it is the location. It is a few minutes walk from the subway system, from the city center, from the hospital etc. However, that being said, the staff is extremely rude. Anytime you leave the hotel, you have to hand your room key to the staff until you get back. The hotel room itself was dirty. The bathroom had hairs everywhere, hairs that were not ours, obviously. There is no elevator, and if you aren't travelling light, prepare to climb up many flights of stairs. The toilet was dirty. Worst of all I woke up covered in BED BUG BITES. Please do not stay here.

  Io e la mia amica abbiamo alloggiato all'hotel royal ( se hotel si può definire) per due notti dal 15 al 17 marzo. È stato un soggiorno da incubo (incubo è anche poco). Siamo entrati in camera e a momenti ci prendeva un colpo... Camera senza finestra (o meglio una finestra che sembra finta e che affaccia sulle scale dalla quale entra puzza di cipolla). La stanza era sporchissima (un porcile è più pulito come anche i clochard)... Capelli ovunque, persino sul cuscino con annesse macchie di non so cosa e il pavimento talmente sporco che le scarpe si attaccavano ad esso.. Per non parlare del bagno( piatto doccia pieno di ruggine, che a momenti ti prende il tetano, acqua gelida che usciva da ogni dove, tappeto sporco) Pezzo forte è la colazione... Abbiamo prenotato con booking e c'era scritto scritto che la colazione era inclusa per poi scoprire che bisognava pagare 5€...la cosa assurda era che avremmo dovuto farla in un kebabbaro. In se la colazione era poverissima ( due panini, latte e succo) e cimici nei letti!!!!!! Ps il WiFi non era funzionante e il receptionist che c'era la mattina era molto scortese!! Quasi dimenticavo... Le scale sono un suicidio!! Insomma un soggiorno da non ripetere in questo hotel!!!!!!

  Valt zwaar tegen .... absoluut GEEN AANRADER - Eerst en vooral was de hygiëne in de kamer niet om over te spreken! * Het was overal vettig (letterlijk plakkerig) * Plinten kwamen overal van de muren * Het krioelde van het stof (op de brandblusser buizen recht boven ons bed, op de lampen, ...) * De douchedeur was beschimmeld, afgebrokkeld, lekkend, ... * De mat voor de douche was smerig en er zaten zelfs resten van teennagels in?? * Verf op het plafond kwam overal los en het zat onder de schimmelvlekken - De kamer was zéér koud * De kamer heeft enkele beglazing * Tocht kwam langs overal binnen * Verwarming stond op maximum, maar had helaas gewoon géén effect (Buiten was het -2°C) - Het apart toilet op de gang: * Was ook zéér smerig * Ruimte was zéér klein, waardoor het zelf onmogelijk was om deftig op het toilet te zitten (Fysisch onmogelijk!) - Wifi was beschikbaar, maar liet zwaar ten wensen over.. Absoluut niet aan te raden
