It was a bit creepy. Everything was automated, tickets were only available from ticketmachines. Coffee only from a coffee machine. Only 'live' personel we saw was at the toilets, charging half a euro for a quick visit too the loo.

Nice seats, fresh movies, the usual food and drinks that you need with a good movie. only downside are the kinda small wards. Coasy bar on a decommissioned vessel across the street is a big plus to meet up with friends before the movie starts.

Nice movie theater but small parking and lots of traffic around at popular times. It has some nice laser projections but most screens are not that big. Overal nice if you can come by bike or by foot.

I have to admit Kinepolis Gent is a pretty amazing cinema in turns of visual effect and audio effect. The cinema is clean and the staffs are friendly, so here is definitely a place that you can enjoy watching movies (or even live sports like football or basketball!). However, the heart of this cinema's owner must have been corrupted by greedy. The shop inside the cinema is so expensive; you have to pay 0.4 euro for using the toilet; and most importantly, there are TOO MANY advertisements before the starting the movie. I paid 15 euros for watching a movie, not half hours advertisement. If you saw a movie that claimed to start at 5 o'clock. Enter the cinema at 5:20 and I promise you won't miss a bit about the film.

Kinepolis is one of the most expensive cinema chains, but then again, aren't they all? This Kinepolis offers about 12 theater rooms of varying sizes. They usually have a wide array of films to watch. I've yet to have a bad experience in this particular cinema. Helpful staff, very few technical troubles, punctual streaming/playing, constant innovation in technology. No slouch in any department, but they don't tend to offer many films outside of the blockbusters/mass media type. They will participate in the Ghent Film Festival, making it a prime location to view atypical films during this period. Awesome location as well, though not easy to get to by car. It is advised to walk or bike here, if possible.
