Enjoyed the meal. Extensive menu also catered for vegetarians.

we were invited at this restaurant by a couple of friends that claimed that this is the best Indian food restaurant in the south of NL. Not having a big experience in Indian restaurants i agreed to join them for a dinner invitation. The food was average for me, i am not an Indian food expert but the food didn`t blew my mind in order to give it a good rating. I would rate the food around 3 or 3.5 stars out of 5. The fact that makes me rate this restaurant with 1 star, is that i have noticed a rather disturbing thing while i was on my way to pay for our dinner. The owner was with his wife near the kitchen area and they were washing the glasses in which they serve drinks to the clients. They had a glass pitcher with not so clear water in their hand, they were pouring a bit in one of the glasses, circulating the water in the glass with a rotating hand gesture and pouring it in a next glass while seating the first glass in the "already cleaned" glasses area. The water initially poured from the pitcher, was used to clean 3 or 4 glasses with that transfer maneuver until it was finally thrown away. Seeing this made me throw up in my mouth a little bit. If they are so cheap on the water they are using to wash the clients drinking glasses, i don`t want to imagine what cost effective stunts they`re pulling to serve you a "decent" meal. I would never ever go at this restaurant again after i have watched that.

This is the worst Indian food I have ever had. All dishes were swimming in oil, almost identical in taste and I couldn't tell one from the other. The tarka dahl was mush and flavourless. And to add insult to injury it wasn't cheap either. Never again! Avoid at all costs. Total rip off.

Nice dinner, with big serve. My best experience was, I was late and they closed but still he gave me take away dinner. Freshly made 🍲

Bland! The nan bread was too heavy. Not traditional, a real nan tastes as good cold as it does warm. There was no spice or flavour in the curry. I won't be back again, unfortunately as it is located local.
