  Eindelijk... het was bijzonder lang geleden dat we nog eens met gemeende vriendelijkheid geholpen werden op de markt van Turnhout... maar op deze plaats wist een jonge dame ons steeds netjes, vriendelijk en correct te bedienen. Ook de salade was zeker niet verkeerd, lekker gegeten op het terras, onder een stralende zon.

  Meeting up with our daughter in Turnhout, got there the day before walked into the centre and the restaurants were expensive (we were at the end of a long holiday) saw the glowing lights of a friendly looking place and headed for it, wonderful food, friendly and welcoming service and it was nice to see a sudden breakout of chess playing! Imagine Cheers on a smaller scale, it was so nice I wanted to move there. No hassle, great food and drink and wonderful service and my husband fell in love with the barmaid, she was very pretty, so I forgive him.

  Great Belgian bar, fantastic beers.
