For an entrance of 10 Euro you would imagine going into a world of fantasy. it lacks decoration, it is not really fun... and not worth paying the entrance. The building is very nice and you might just want to come to the entrance to get your picture taken with a Smurf

Interesting but small museum with just a few of the interesting cartoon and a lot of totally unknown at least to me.

As someone who grew up on Tintin, the Brussels Comic Book Museum was an essential stop. The building is beautifully constructed, the exhibits are thorough and well-designed, the shop has enticing items for collectors, and the library is extremely thorough.

I AM A BIG FAN OF TINTIN AND WENT TO BUY TICKETS FOR THIS MUSEUM AND THE BLACK WOMEN AT THE RECEPTION TOLD US NOT TO TAKE PICTURES. (SIDE NOTE NOWHERE IN THE MUSEUM DOES IT STATE DO NOT TAKE PICTURES, HER EXACT RESPONSE WAS YOU SHOULD ASK ME WHILE SHE WAS SERVING CUSTOMERS) AS IF SHE OWNS THE PLACE. DUMB WOMEN. BECAUSE OF HER OUR GROUP OF 20 PEOPLE WE CAME WITH WE TOLD EVERYONE ABOUT IT AND NON WENT TO SEE THE MUSEUM. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO BLOODY GET DECENT STAFF WHO TREATS VISITORS PROPERLY. LOVE TINTIN HATE THE WOMEN WHO WAS SERVING BEHIND THE DESK ON 28TH OF MARCH 2018 AT 4PM. PLEASE SOMEONE RE TRAIN HER!

A very positive experience. From the beautiful building to the detailed history of comic strips in general to the specific look at the Belgian-flemish contribution, it was a learning experience. Lovely to be to view so many different pieces of contemporary Belgian comic art as well. Solidly recommended.
